We are planning a tour of the Asian Art Museum together with our sister
chapter, the Diablo Chapter of the JACL, the afternoon of October 26th at 2:00 in the afternoon. We will have a
guided tour of the Japanese and Korean exhibits. Following the tour and an opportunity to browse the other exhibits
at the museum, we will retire to an early dinner at a nearby Chinese restaurant. The Asian Art Museum is located in
San Francisco just across the plaza from City Hall.
Come join us for this event. Underground parking is available
at the Civic Center, or even better, take BART to San Francisco and get off at the Civic Center stop.

Annual Christmas Party
Our annual Christmas Party will be held at a local community center in Danville, and will
feature, as always, a tremendous variety of every type of food imaginable, crafts for the children, entertainment, and as
a special surprise, a special guest from the North will pay a brief visit to our get together.
Also, for those
graduating seniors, this will be the first opportunity to pick up an application for the local TriValley JACL scholarship,
plus information on how to apply for both the District and National JACL scholarships.
